The Nursery has 5 inset days in a year.

These are days when the staff attend training and therefore the children are not able to attend the setting.

Part-time Early Years Practitioner 

As part of our team, you will act as key person for a small group of children.  You must have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to support children to make good progress. You will work as a team member and in partnership with families and other professionals in meeting the needs of the children who attend our setting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with good communication skills.

St Augustine’s Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment; all posts are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references covering the past 3 years.

 

Details:

  • 14.5 hrs a week over 3 days, term time (9.00 am to 1.30 pm +1h planning meeting)

  • hourly starting rate of £8.75

  • opportunities for self-development

  • negotiable starting date

  • renewable yearly contract
