St Augustine's Nursery

St Augustine’s Nursery is  located at the heart of a multi-cultural community in Highbury, London N5.

It is a charitable organisation situated in a large open-plan setting offering free flow access to a garden. It offers places to children aged 2 to 5 years old, from 9.15am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday, with the optional Extended hours to 2.45 pm Monday to Thursday.

The children have access to the national curriculum to support their development through child initiated play and adult led experiences. Our aim is to support children’s physical, emotional and language development through play and social interaction, all of which provides the basis for developing strong self-esteem. Through a combination of planned indoor and outdoor group activities and free play, children are encouraged to develop skills and interests, a love of learning and an inquiring mind.

They learn to socialise with other children and adults, grow in confidence and make friendships.

St Augustine’s Nursery provides a relaxed and happy environment where each child is valued and allowed to develop at his or her own pace with the support they need from qualified and caring staff.

Being a parent run organisation, carers are partners and their views, opinions and suggestions are welcome and listened to.
