Veronique
Manager
Veronique has been working at St Augustine’s since March 2006 and became the nursery's Manager in April 2017. She also holds the roles of Designated Safeguarding Lead and Equal Opportunities Coordinator. She has a NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and a Degree in Arts.
Being originally from France and having lived in England for over 25 years, she is bilingual, which can be a valuable support to French-speaking families.
She is a mother or two, whose youngest has attended St Augustine's Nursery. The many years she has spent at St Augustine's are a true testament to her dedication to working with early years children and within this community nursery.
Juliet
Deputy
Juliet has been working with children since she completed her NNEB in 1988. Her experience includes working in multiple nurseries, being a nanny to various families and also becoming a mother of three. She started at St Augustine’s in 2010 as staff cover and then in November 2012, when a full time position became available, she jumped at the chance to join the team permanently.
She became deputy manager in April 2017 and is also the Senco, the Deputy Safeguarding person and the lead for ECAT (Every Child A Talker) promoting communication and language in the setting.

Sue
Early Years Practitioner
Susan (Sue) has been working with children for over 20 years both in education and play, and has a strong background working with special needs children in particular.

She has a City & Guilds in caring for children aged 0-7 years, a diploma in Pre-School and Level 2 in Children and Young People in the Workplace.
​
Sue has been with St Augustine’s since 2014, first as a staff cover and now a full time member of the team. She has also taken on the roles of Fire Marshall and Behaviour Coordinator.
Dayna
Early Years Practitioner
Dayna holds a NVQ Level 3 in children's care, learning and development she also holds a level 4 certificate in 0-3 provision and play.
She has worked with children since 2008 and has worked in a variety of different nurseries with children from 3 months to reception age.
After taking a break to have her two children, Dayna has returned to childcare and joined St-Augustine's nursery in April 2023. She has also taken the role of Fire Marshall.

Caroline
Early Years Practitioner
Caroline came to St Augustine's as a volunteer in April 2023 to gain experience working with children as part of a career change and a long-term plan to train as a child psychotherapist. She has since joined the team as a permanent staff member and is studying for a Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator). She is passionate about the importance and value of positive early years experiences for all young children and about working with children and young people to help them achieve and maintain good mental health as they develop into adulthood.
Caroline has been a freelance journalist and content writer for more than twenty years. She also has two children.
